Extended Care:
A safe environment is provided for our students in Grades Preschool-8 who need to arrive at school before school hours and remain after the school day.
Breakfast Program hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. The only cost is the cost of breakfast provided by Chartwells a Fairhaven Public Schools meal Program.
Morning and after school hours are from 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The cost is $3.00 per ½ hour. Extended Care is billed per blocks of ½ hour (7:00-7:30, 7:30 – 8:00, 3:00-3:30, 3:30-4:00, 4:00- 4:30, 4:30-5:00, and 5:00-5:30). Full amount of $3.00 will be charged if student is in Extended Care for at least 10 minutes within that block of time, less than 5 minutes there will be no charge. A discount will be offered for families with two or more children using extended care three or more days per week.
Activities provided under the supervision of faculty and staff includes free play, snack, and homework time.
Early Release Days
Child Care is provided by the quality Saint Joseph Support Staff on days when teachers are scheduled for professional development. This service costs $25.00 per student for the hours of the early dismissal to 3:00. Regular extended day fees apply after 3:00. We ask for families to register for this service in advance in order to have sufficient supervision for the number of students attending and planning age appropriate activities. Students must bring their own lunch and afternoon snack.
