Preschool and Kindergarten are the very foundation of the learning process. It is important that children discover a love for learning through hands-on developmentally appropriate experiences.

Our early childhood program is an adventure of carefully planned activities designed to help each child encounter feelings of success and experience opportunities for discovery. Using the Diocese of Fall River Learning Outcomes, standards in the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and standards through our two accreditations, we build upon a child’s natural talents and curiosity to help him / her become a confident learners.

We offer the following programs based on a child’s age and developmental ability.  Saint Joseph School accepts PACE vouchers for early childhood and extended day care.

Prekindergarten is available for students who are 4 years of age by August 31st  Both of these programs are offered as Full Year, Full School Year, or Part Time which includes two or three full day options.

Kindergarten is offered to children who are 5 years old by August 31st.  Our kindergarten is a full day/full week program.
