Working and Volunteering

Students love seeing their parent or grandparent in the school! And at St. Joseph School we all work together to serve our children.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:

Lunch

Help supervise students during one or all of our lunch shifts or help at a class bake sale. Lunch Shifts run from 11:00am-12:30pm.  

Recess

Help supervise or organize a game at recess. Recess runs from 11:30am-12:30pm.

Damien’s Closet

We have many gently used uniforms that are donated to the school. Help keep these uniforms sized and organized. Call the office if you have time to help in this area.

Read a Story

Two stories would be great! Short Stories are most welcome. If you have a particular story that you would like to share with the class that relates to our theme or a favorite story, please contact your child’s teacher.

Class Activity

If you have an activity (art project, music, making a special snack etc.) that you would like to share with the class please contact your child’s teacher to arrange a time. It is best if the activities are no longer than 20-30 minutes.

Note: All volunteers that work in the school must attend an Abuser Prevention Training and complete a CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) check before working with the children.
