State DPH Continues to Deny Private School Students Millions in School Nurse Services

An ecumenical and interfaith group of faith-based schools in Massachusetts has formed a coalition called “Project Access.” This coalition is comprised of not only Catholic schools, but also other Christian and Jewish Day schools.

Project Access’s leaders are actively meeting with state government officials to advocate for the provision of school nursing funds in the FY ’20 state budget for non-public school students. In the near future, Project Access’s leaders will ask the non-public school community for help with reaching out to local state legislators for the purpose of persuading our leaders to support the non-public school community’s FY ’20 school nursing budget request.
