"Ms. Martin is a wonderful teacher who brings learning to life with her creativity, patience, and engaging teaching style. Addison looks forward to going to school every day because of the fun, supportive, and inspiring environment she creates in the classroom."

"In September, I sent my first child to preschool at St. Joseph’s. As this was his first time being away from family for long periods of time, I was nervous about how he would adjust and him not being in my family’s care in general. However, I quickly realized that sending my son to preschool was the best decision I have made, and that is because of Mrs. Cronan. Right from the start, I have always appreciated seeing Mrs. Cronan’s smiling face every time she greets her students. It is clear how much she genuinely loves her job, as she has so much enthusiasm. Every day, my son looks forward to going to school and comes home talking about all of the amazing things he learns. I feel so content with dropping him off at school in the morning, knowing that he is in the best hands. She has helped bring out the best of my son’s personality, and I am forever grateful for all she has done."

"Mrs. Tavares has made learning fun for my Ashton. He began 1st grade not reading and not knowing all his Kindergarten sight words. With experience and wonderful knowledge of making accomodations and getting a student to buy into their learning, she has assisted my Ashton to achieve reading at a 2nd grade level and knowing all his sight words to second grade. He loves school and he loves Mrs. Tavares who makes accommodations daily to assist him with his ADHD and his anxiety to allow his body and mind be ready and available to learn. There are no words to even explain the positive impact she has had on my Ashton.
Thank you for being you Mrs. Tavares!!! You are one of a kind and amazing."

"With a smile that will light up any room Bethany Helme has been an incredible addition to the St. Joseph's community. Every roll she has filled has been made better by her grace. Her love for children is evident when you see her interactions with them. The children truly love her as well. We are blessed to have her a part of this community."

"Mr. Cholette is truly an extraordinary teacher—the very embodiment of what every educator should strive to be. He is kind, deeply caring, and leads with integrity and consistency. His classroom is a place where expectations are high, yet students feel supported every step of the way. He balances rigor and structure with warmth and compassion, creating an environment where children thrive both academically and emotionally. When we transitioned our children from public school to private school, we were nervous about the adjustment. Fortunately, Mr. Cholette made that transition seamless for our oldest son, Jack. Jack needed a classroom that offered both discipline and understanding, and Mr. Cholette delivered exactly that. He provided a nurturing yet structured learning environment that allowed Jack to grow in confidence and ability.
Now, our middle son, Sawyer, is lucky to be in his class. Sawyer has dyslexia, and we've watched him make remarkable progress under Mr. Cholette’s guidance. His ability to tailor his teaching to meet the needs of each student—especially those with learning differences—is nothing short of inspiring. Mr. Cholette doesn’t just teach; he invests in his students, believes in them, and gives them the tools to believe in themselves. We are incredibly grateful for the impact he’s had on our children’s lives. We sincerely hope that our youngest son, Jakob, who is currently in first grade, will also have the opportunity to learn from Mr. Cholette before he retires. Teachers like him are rare, and his influence will stay with our family for a lifetime."

"Our school would be lost without her leadership! Tara Frost became principal at a time our school was in need of a blessing, and our prayers were answered. Taking on this mission when opportunity to make more money in public schools is a testimony to her character. Not only is she steering the ship, but also taking on the roll as a middle school teacher because the need was there as well. St. Joseph's students, staff, and families are lucky to have her. God bless Tara."

"Mrs. Tavares is a true definition of a teacher that goes above and beyond for her students. She teaches them with fun games and in ways they will understand. She teaches them about earning money , saving the money they earn in their classroom and giving them an option to spend their money or save it in their savings account, that lesson alone is worth a lifetime of learning. Mrs. Tavares truly and deeply loves what she does and it shows in how she cares for her students, how she adapts to teaching them in a way they will understand. She deserves the day off but to be honest she would rather be with her students, she truly loves what she does."

"We currently have 4 students enrolled at St. Joseph School. This year our oldest son, who has been at St Joseph School since he was 4 (10 years at St. Joseph), will be leaving Catholic education. In the world that we live in, with so many choices to be made, we are more confident that our son will make positive choices, make new friends and excel in his academics in High School. This is all due to the strong foundation he has been given at St. Joseph School in spiritual and academic education. He has also maintained high grades in all academic areas. With this ever changing world, many times not for the better, we are glad to have our children in a safe environment where they are surrounded with opportunities to make positive choices and be role models. All four children thoroughly enjoy their experiences at St. Joseph School. This includes the love of their teachers, as well as their friendships with their peers."

"I am a parishioner and the Grandmother of an 8 year old student that attends St. Joseph School. I have been a parishioner for about 10 years, when I moved to Fairhaven from New Bedford. I was granted custody of my granddaughter a few years ago and enrolled her in Catholic School in 2022. Both she and I Love the school, she has gained a lot of friends and loves her teachers. Her reading skills along with her confidence have grown. We love the smaller classroom sizes and wearing a uniform helps with getting ready in the morning. Attending St Joseph School gives her the structure she needs along with morals and a strong Catholic background. I love that she has Religion as part of curriculum, it is the main reason for sending her to Catholic School. St Joseph School is a place where she enjoys attending and gets a great education and Catholic education, so she can grow stronger in her faith."

"I have been here for 25 years, first as a volunteer, then as a teacher. I love this school because of its family environment and you get to know the families personally. You see them grow up and then you get their siblings. Students form lifelong friendships here. My own three children graduated from SJS, it’s a safe, caring environment with high accreditation standards."
