VOLUNTEER: Making a Difference

There are many ways to volunteer. Listed below are some of the ways that you can help in your child's class.

Read a Story

Two stories would be great! Short Stories are most welcome. If you have a particular story that you would like to share with the class that relates to our theme or a favorite story, we will be having Parent Story Time on Wednesdays.

Make Class Activities

All materials and directions will be provided for you to make class materials and activities (trace, color, cut, paste).You would make them at home and return them to school completed with your child.

Class Activity

If you have an activity (art project, music, making a special snack etc.) that you would like to share with the class please contact me to arrange at time. It is best if the activities are no longer than 20-30 minutes.

Classroom Helper

We are looking for a parent to help out in the classrooms. We ask that you commit to coming one or more days a week on a consistent basis if possible.

All volunteers that work in the school must complete a CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) check before working with the children. Forms are available at the school office.
