Welcome to the Take Home Tuesday. This week’s notifications include Weekly Reminders, Scholastic Book Fair Volunteer Sign up Form, Scholastic Book Fair Parent Letter, Italian Night Ticket Flyer, Italian Night Volunteer Letter, P.T.O. Agenda and P.T.O Scavenger Hunt Flyer.

Reminders

  • Students for the Homeless: we will be collecting Men’s Size Gloves to be donated to the homeless shelter. Gloves will be picked up on Thursday, January 19th.
  • National Junior Honor Society Service Projects: student members of our NJHS will be collecting used cell phones to be recycled. There will be a collection box in the front foyer of the school.
  • Progress Reports: will be issued today for grades 1 - 8. Please review them, sign and return to the teacher by no later than Friday, January 20th.
  • Kindergarten Report Cards: will be issued today. Please review them, sign and return to the teacher by no later than Friday, January 20th.
  • P.T.O. Meeting: will be on Wednesday, January 18th at 7:00 p.m.
  • January Birthday Non-Uniform Day: will be on Friday, January 20th for all those students whose birthday is in January.
  • P.T.O. Digital Scavenger Hunt: will be on Saturday, January 21st.  See Attached flyer for more information.
  • Scholastic Book Fair: will be Monday, January 23rd to Friday, January 27th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and on Thursday, January 26th during the Science Fair. This is a great time to purchase books for your children. There will also be a class wish list if you would like to purchase books for your child’s class.
  • Skate Night: our 3rd Family Skate Night will be on Monday, January 23rd from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. All students must be accompanied by a parent. All students who attend will have a Non-Uniform Day on Friday, January 27th.
  • Bake Sale: Mrs. Cronan’s Pre-School Class will be having their Bake Sale on Wednesday, January 25th during all lunches
  • Science Fair: will be held on Thursday, January 26th from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
  • Italian Night: will be on Saturday, January 28th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Come start celebrating Catholic School’s Week with us and enjoy a delicious Spaghetti Dinner.
  • Catholic School’s Week Family Mass: will be held on Sunday, January 29th at the 11:00 a.m. Mass at St. Joseph Church. All are invited to attend.
  • Catholic School’s Week: will be Monday, January30th through February 3rd. A schedule of the week will be send home next week.
  • Stop & Shop A+ Program: Please remember to re-register for the A+ Program that Stop & Shop is offering. All you have to do is log on to www.stopandshop.com/aplus to register on line or call 1-877-275-2758 to register your card. Saint Joseph School ID# 06183. If you have any questions or you would like us to register your card please contact Liz at 508-996-1983.

Welcome to the Take Home Tuesday. This week’s notifications include Weekly Reminders, Scholastic Book Fair Volunteer Sign up Form, P.T.O. January Newsletter and P.T.O Scavenger Hunt Flyer.

Reminders

  • Inclement Weather: please have children dress appropriately for the weather due to them going out for recess, walking to the church for masses and at dismissal.
  • Students for the Homeless: we will be collecting Men’s Size Gloves to be donated to the homeless shelter. Gloves will be picked up on Thursday, January 19th.
  • National Junior Honor Society Service Projects: student members of our NJHS are holding a Holiday Pet Contest, Dress  your pet in their favorite holiday decor/costume and submit their picture with a donation of $1.00 and your pet could win some tasty treats.  All proceeds will be donated to the Fairhaven Animal Shelter. All entries must be submitted by January 13th. Also, the students will be collecting used cell phones to be recycled. There will be a collection box in the front foyer of the school.
  • Bake Sale: Kindergarten will be having their Bake Sale on Thursday, January 5th during all lunches.

  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day - NO SCHOOL: there will be no school on Monday, January 16th.

Reminders

  • Students for the Homeless: we will be collecting Men’s Size Gloves to be donated to the homeless shelter. Gloves will be picked up on Thursday, January 19th.
  • National Junior Honor Society Service Projects: student members of our NJHS are holding a Holiday Pet Contest, Dress  your pet in their favorite holiday decor/costume and submit their picture with a donation of $1.00 and your pet could win some tasty treats.  All proceeds will be donated to the Fairhaven Animal Shelter. All entries must be submitted by January 13th. Also, the students will be collecting used cell phones to be recycled. There will be a collection box in the front foyer of the school.

  • 1/2 Day: there will be a 1/2 day on Thursday, December 22nd. DISMISSAL IS AT NOON. No lunch will be served. There also will be NO EXTENDED CARE.
  • Christmas Vacation: starts on Friday, December 23rd. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 3rd.
