Welcome to the Take Home Tuesday. This week’s notifications include Weekly Reminders and Thanksgiving Food Drive.

Reminders

  • Bake Sale: Grade 2 will be having their Bake Sale on Wednesday, November 16th during all lunches.
  • Kindergarten Conferences: will be on Wednesday, November 16th and Thursday, November 17th.
  • Thanksgiving Food Drive: Please remember to send in the food items requested by each grade by no later than Wednesday, November 16th so that we may get these much needed items to the food pantry in time for Thanksgiving.
  • Skate Night Non-Uniform Day: for students who attended Skate Night on Monday, November 14th will be on Thursday, November 17th.
  • Raffle Calendars: please keep in mind that the calendar slips and money are due on Friday, November 18th.
  • November Birthday Non-Uniform Day: is Friday, November 18th for all those students whose birthday is in November.
  • PTO St. Joseph School Bazaar: will be on Saturday, November 19th from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Providence College Basketball: Providence College (Friars) vs Florida A& M on Saturday, November 19th at 4:00 p.m.
  • Report Cards: will be sent home on Tuesday, November 22nd.
  • 1/2 Day: there will be a 1/2 day on Wednesday, November 23rd. DISMISSAL IS AT NOON. There also will be NO EXTENDED CARE.
  • Thanksgiving Break: there will be NO SCHOOL on Thursday, November 24th and Friday, November 25th.
  • Stop & Shop A+ Program: Please remember to re-register for the A+ Program that Stop & Shop is offering. All you have to do is log on to www.stopandshop.com/aplus to register on line or call 1-877-275-2758 to register your card. Saint Joseph School ID# 06183. If you have any questions or you would like us to register your card please contact Liz at 508-996-1983. Please see attached flyer for more information.
  • Got Books: please remember to donate your used books to the Got Books Program. Just drop off used books in the Got Books container in the Staff Parking Lot and the school will benefit.

  • Box Tops: Please keep sending in your Box Tops.

Welcome to the Take Home Tuesday. This week’s notifications include Weekly Reminders, Thanksgiving Food Drive, PTO Agenda, Yearbook Business Ads, Portuguese Club, Fifth Grade Holiday Bazaar Raffle and Channel 7NEWS School Closings and Delays Notification.

Reminders

  • Christmas Project: ** DATE CHANGE** due to Veteran’s Day we have been informed that all shoeboxes are due by Thursday, November 10th. Help make a child’s Christmas happy by sending in a wrapped shoebox with age and gender appropriate items.
  • PTO Meeting: will be held on Wednesday, November 9th at 7:00 p.m.
  • Veteran’s Day: NO SCHOOL on Friday, November 11th.
  • PTO Pancake Breakfast: will be held at the 99 Restaurant on Sunday, November 13, 2011 from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. Tickets are $5.00, available at the door. All proceeds will provide needy families in the parish, school and surrounding community with food baskets and gift cards at Thanksgiving.
  • Southern Mass Credit Union U.S. Armed Forces Collection Drive: thank you to all the families who have donated to the drive. It is still not to late to make a donation. Donations will be collected until November 10th.
  • Skate Night: our 2nd Family Skate Night will be on Monday, November 14th. Please keep in minds that only St. Joseph School Students and their families are allowed to participate. Also all students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Students cannot be dropped off unsupervised. All students who attend will have a Non-Uniform Day on Thursday, November 17th.

Reminders

  • Raffle Calendars: will be going home today. Please remember this is a mandatory Fundraiser.
  • Bake Sale: Grade 3 will be having their Bake Sale on Wednesday, November 2nd during all lunches.
  • Orange & Black Charity Drive: We would like to thank everyone who participated in the Charity Non-Uniform Day. With your help we were able to raise $140.00 and fill 2 boxes with non-perishable items.
  • PTO Crop Til You Drop Scrapbooking: will be on Sunday, November 6th. from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Any last minute RSVPS need to be received by no later than Thursday, November 3rd.
  • PTO Meeting Date Change: the November PTO Meeting has been changed to Wednesday, November 9th at 7:00 p.m.

Welcome to the Take Home Tuesday. This week’s notifications include Weekly Reminders.

Reminders

  • School Store: orders where due on Friday, October 21st, however if you wish to place an order, please do so by no later than Friday, October 28th.
  • Bake Sale: Grade 1 will be having their Bake Sale on Wednesday, October 26th during all lunches.
  • Individual Pictures: students will be taking individual pictures on Friday, October 28th. All students must take a picture whether purchasing pictures or not. These pictures will be used in the yearbook. This is a Non-Uniform Day for all students.
  • $1.00 Charity Orange & Black Non-Uniform Day: for students who bring in $1.00 and a canned good for the local Food Pantries will be on Monday, October 31st.
  • All Saints Day Mass: will be on Tuesday, November 1st at 9:00 a.m. Dress Uniform mandatory.

  • Grandparents/Guest Luncheon: will be held Monday, October 17th to Friday, October 21st.
  • Bake Sale: Middle School will be having their Bake Sale all week starting Monday to Friday during all lunches.
  • Scholastic Book Fair: will be held Monday, October 17th to Friday, October 21st from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and also during the Open House from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. This is a great time to purchase books for your children. There will also be a Class Wish List if you wish to purchase books for your child’s class.
  • Open House: will be held on Wednesday, October 19th from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
