Welcome to the Take Home Tuesday. This week’s notifications include Weekly Reminders, PTO March Madness Flyer, Yearbook Family Shout Outs Form and Spring Bash Save the Date Flyer.

Reminders

• Re-registration Forms were due on Friday, January 27th. There are still a lot of families who still have not returned their forms. If you have not returned your re-registration form yet, please do so by no later than Friday, March 2nd.

• Class, Cheerleader and CYO Basketball Players’ Pictures: will be taken on Wednesday, February 29th. Dress Uniform Mandatory. Cheerleaders need to bring in their uniforms to change for their pictures. CYO Basketball players also need to bring in their uniforms to change for pictures, which will be used for the yearbook.
• First Friday Mass: is scheduled for Friday, March 2nd at 9:00 a.m. Dress Uniform Mandatory.
• PTO March Madness: will be on Saturday, March 3rd from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. See flyer for more information.
• Report Cards: will be sent home on Tuesday, March 6th.
• Poetry Night: for grades 3 - 8 will be on Thursday, March 8th at 6:00 p.m.
• March Birthday Non-Uniform Day: will be on Friday, March 9th for all students whose birthday is in March.
• Skate Night: our 4th Family Skate Night will be on Monday, March 12th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A parent must accompany all students. All students who attend will have a Non-Uniform Day on Thursday, March 15th.
• Students for the Homeless: “Christmas in February” Students for the homeless will be collecting used toys that are still in good condition. Toy can be dropped off at the school office.
• National Junior Honor Society Service Projects: student members of our NJHS will be collecting used cell phones to be recycled. There will be a collection box in the front foyer of the school.
• Stop & Shop A+ Program: Please remember to re-register for the A+ Program that Stop & Shop is offering. All you have to do is log on to www.stopandshop.com/aplus to register on line or call 1-877-275-2758 to register your card. Saint Joseph School ID# 06183. If you have any questions or you would like us to register your card please contact Liz at 508-996-1983.
• Got Books: please remember to donate your used books to the Got Books Program. Just drop off used books in the Got Books container in the Staff Parking Lot and the school will benefit.
• Labels for Education: Please keep sending in your Campbell’s Labels.
• Box Tops: Please keep sending in your Box Tops.
• Target: Please remember to enroll in the Target Program. Target will donate 1% of your purchases to Saint Joseph School when you use your rewards card (REDcard) at their retail or online stores. Check our website for instruction how to register.

• Extended Care: due to the winter vacation break beginning Monday, February 20th, we are asking that the Extended Care balance be PAID IN FULL by no later than Monday, February 17th. Thank you.

• PTO Meeting: will be held on Wednesday, February 15th at 7:00 p.m.
• February Birthday Non-Uniform Day: will be on Friday, February 16th for all those students whose birthday is in February.
• Madri-Gra Non-Uniform Day: will be on Friday, February 17th. Students must wear green, purple or yellow.

• Italian Night: Thanks to all the families who attended the Evening in Italy. It was a great success. We also would like to send out a special thanks to the Allison & Jack Pereira’s family for baking the delicious bread and cake pops served at the dinner, Angiolina & Giovanni Chessa’s family for donating and cooking the spaghetti served and Mrs. Brzezinski, Mrs. Monticello, Mr. Rosa and all the students who came to help serve, this event was such a great success because of all of you. Thank you all very much.
• Catholic School’s Week: will be Monday, January30th through February 3rd, please refer to the Catholic Schools Week Schedule that was sent home last week or can be found under January 24th parent news on our website.
• Spring Bash Committee Meeting: will be on Wednesday, February 1st at 6:00 p.m. If you would like to help and are not able to attend the meeting please let us know.

• National Junior Honor Society Service Projects: student members of our NJHS will be collecting used cell phones to be recycled. There will be a collection box in the front foyer of the school.
• Scholastic Book Fair: will be Monday, January 23rd to Friday, January 27th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and on Thursday, January 26th during the Science Fair. This is a great time to purchase books for your children. There will also be a class wish list if you would like to purchase books for your child’s class.
• Bake Sale: Mrs. Cronan’s Pre-School Class will be having their Bake Sale on Wednesday, January 25th during all lunches.
• Science Fair: will be held on Thursday, January 26th from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
• Skate Night Non-Uniform Day: for all students who attended Skate Night on Monday, January 23rd will be on Friday, January 27th for students in Grades K-8 and students in Pre-School will get a free Ice Cream.
• Italian Night: will be on Saturday, January 28th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Come start celebrating Catholic School’s Week with us and enjoy a delicious Spaghetti Dinner.
• Catholic School’s Week Family Mass: will be held on Sunday, January 29th at the 11:00 a.m. Mass at St. Joseph Church. All are invited to attend.
• Catholic School’s Week: will be Monday, January30th through February 3rd. A schedule of the week will be sent home today.
