Welcome to the Take Home Tuesday. This week’s notifications include weekly Reminders, Blessing of the Bikes, and Walk-a-thon.
Reminders
- Walk-a-thon: will be held on Friday, May 7th (rain date May 14th). If you have not returned your child’s permission slip please do so by no later than Wednesday, May 5th, unfortunately if the permission slip is not not signed and returned your child will not be permitted to join in the walk-a-thon. Pledges are due by Tuesday, May 11th. Although the Walk-a-thon is a mandatory Fundraiser, as an added bonus we will be offering a week of Summer Dress Downs, which includes shorts (appropriate length) and Flip flops to all families who raise $100.00 by May 11th. Walk-a-thon Non-Uniform week will be May 24th - May28th.
- Bake Sale: Grade 1 will be having their Bake Sale on Wednesday, May 5th during all lunches.
- Spring Bash: We would like to thank everyone who attended the Spring Bash. It was a great success. Also we would like to give a special thank you to the Bash Committee (Kim Centeio, Beth Becotte, Karen Ryan, Lori Bentley, Jeanine McLaughlin, Stacie Hankins and Steve Pereira) for all their hard work in making this event a great success.
- PTO Meeting: will be on Wednesday, May 5th at 7:00 p.m.
- Yearbooks: are still available. Please place your order as soon as possible to make sure a copy is reserved for you. The cost is $25.00. Please keep in mind that all students are in the yearbook.
- Uniform Orders: Donnelly’s Apparel will be here on Wednesday, May 5th from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. for measurements.
- Ascension Thursday Mass: will be on Thursday, May 13th at 9:00 a.m. Dress Uniform Mandatory.
- National Jr. Honor Society Induction: will be on Thursday, May 13th at 7:00 p.m.
- Blessing of the Bikes: will be held on Sunday, May16th (Rain date Sunday, May 23rd).
- Labels for Education: Please keep sending in your Campbell’s Labels.
- Box Tops: Please keep sending in your Box Tops.
- Target: Please remember to enroll in the Target Program. Target will donate 1% of your purchases to Saint Joseph School when you use your rewards card (REDcard) at their retail or online stores. Check our website for instruction how to register.
- Stop & Shop: we are NOW registered for the A+ Program that Stop & Shop is offering. All you have to do is log on to www.stopandshop.com/aplus to register on line or call 1-877-275-2758 to register your card. Saint Joseph School ID# 06183.
