Welcome to the Take Home Tuesday. This week’s notifications include weekly Reminders, P.T.O. March Newsletter, P.T.O. Easter Egg Hunt, P.T.O. Talent Show and P.T.O. Officers Nomination Ballot.
Reminders
- Report Cards: are being sent home today for Grades 1 - 8. Please make sure that the bottom is signed and returned to the teacher ASAP.
- Poetry Night: for grades 3 - 8 will be on Thursday, March 11th at 7:00 p.m. Students are required to wear school uniforms. All students who attend will have a non-uniform day on Friday, March 12th. Please have students at the school by 6:45 p.m.
- Skate Night: our 4th Family Skate Night will be on Monday, March 15th. All students who attend will have a non-uniform day on Wednesday, March 24th.
- $1.00 and can good Charity Non-Uniform Day: for students who bring in $1.00 and a can good will be on Wednesday, March 17th. Proceeds will be going to the American Cancer Society and the can goods will go to the Local Food Pantries.
- Diocesan Professional Day: there will be NO SCHOOL on Thursday, March 18th.
- Greater New Bedford Catholic Schools Faculty Retreat: there will be NO SCHOOL on Friday, March 19th.
- Calendar Change: March Birthday Non-Uniform Day has been switched to Thursday, March 25th.
- Labels for Education: Please keep sending in your Campbell’s Labels.
- Box Tops: Please keep sending in your Box Tops.
- Shaw’s: Please keep in mind that when you shop at Shaw’s on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and use your registered Shaw’s Card the school will receive 1% of your purchases. If you have not already registered your card please do so. The school ID #49001018520. If you have any problems registering please contact Liz at 508-996-1983. Shaw’s has recently informed us that most cards must be renewed due to them being programmed for local areas only and not regional. Please call 1-888-431-7429 and they will issue new cards.
- Target: Please remember to enroll in the Target Program. Target will donate 1% of your purchases to Saint Joseph School when you use your rewards card (REDcard) at their retail or online stores. Check our website for instruction how to register.
- Stop & Shop: we are NOW registered for the A+ Program that Stop & Shop is offering. All you have to do is log on to www.stopandshop.com/aplus to register on line or call 1-877-275-2758 to register your card. Saint Joseph School ID# 06183.
